 Latoscha Brown is a courageous mother who has turned her personal tragedy into a powerful force for change. In June 2015, Latoscha's world was shattered when her beloved 19-year-old son, Wali Ishmail Abdulla Clanton, was taken from her in an act of senseless violence.

Despite the unimaginable pain of losing her son, Latoscha refused to succumb to despair. Instead, she channeled her grief into action, determined to honor Wali's memory by creating a supportive community for parents experiencing similar loss.

Driven by her own experiences and a profound empathy for others, Latoscha founded Restoration For Parents, a foundation dedicated to providing social services to parents navigating the difficult journey of grief. 

Through her leadership and unwavering commitment, Latoscha has become a beacon of hope and healing for countless individuals and families, offering a lifeline of support and compassion in their darkest moments.

Latoscha's resilience, strength, and boundless love for her son continue to inspire all who have the privilege of knowing her. She stands as a testament to the transformative power of turning pain into purpose, proving that even in the depths of sorrow, there is hope for restoration and renewal.
